The problem

The crossover had to divide and recombine woofer and tweeter signals within embedded processing limits.

My contribution

  1. 01

Designed and evaluated digital crossover filters.

  2. 02

    Implemented signal-processing methods in C/C++.

  3. 03

Connected modelled filter behaviour to embedded measurements, making crossover trade-offs visible in the summed loudspeaker response.

Technical approach

  1. 01

Model filter behavior before embedded implementation.

  2. 02

Compare filter choices against the loudspeaker response.

  3. 03

Balance acoustic performance with processing constraints.

How I checked it

  1. 01

Compared modelled and implemented filter responses.

  2. 02

Inspected summation across the crossover region.

  3. 03

Tested behavior on the embedded target.
